Southwest Initiative Foundation is a nonprofit community foundation supported by individuals, families, businesses and organizations who care about southwest Minnesota. We believe our communities are strongest when all people can fully participate in our region’s opportunities, and we put our mission – connecting people, investing in ideas and building communities – into practice every day to make our vision a reality. We do this by supporting local businesses, employees and families to foster economic mobility and providing grants and programs that create opportunities for all people to thrive in our communities.
